A Voice unheard….

There were days when I felt like a stranger in my world

I longed to hear for a voice I haven’t heard

My days passed by, without waiting for me

And my search continued for that love I couldnt see

Friends I made, they left in haste

So I thought my life was just a waste

I battled for long

So now this is the inspiration for my song

This is what I could learn

I hope this is what you yearn

To find that voice you cannot hear

So heres something for you so you won’t fear

Don’t worry, when things don’t work your way

Cos someone there, his life did he lay

So don’t forget, that your life

Its not always sorrow, pain and strife

Thank God for the cross

He did not consider his sons sacrifice a loss

My burden did he gladly bear

So lovingly his son did he spare

My world would have been empty

And sadness would have been in plenty

So praises be to my king

His glories will I gladly sing

When the world around celebrates his birth

They often forget what he’s worth

Wine and cake, toasts around

But even there he won’t be found

Go to the house that gladly gives

Or make a friend, who you know forgives

Don’t spend your time with some selfish ambition

For we have been called for a special, mission

So if you haven’t found what you’re seeking,

Don’t spend your time always weeping

Remember your answer is at the door

But for that you need to bend in prayer on the floor

Its time one discovers the purpose of your making

My friend, its time for that great awakening

Don’t think life is just plain simple

For all of your waiting, will make you more humble

So if you are still searching far and near

You will find that voice you longed to hear

It’s a sound of hope, one of cheer

It will be be of one who holds you dear

I found him when I finally did listen

Not because I was born a Christian

My life changed, it became new

Through him my strength did I renew

So people if you feel the same

There’s no one you can put the blame

So strain to hear that voice unheard

It’s sweeter than that of a bird

So don’t waste any more precious time

You won’t find what you seek with some hard earned dime

Just listen and obey the masters every word

Because then truly you will hear that voice you haven’t heard…
