My True Friend

Have you ever felt lonely?

In this life of yours?

When people seemed to come in

And go out just as the rain pours.

Some people leave, some stays.

But in the end there is only one

Who will be there for you, always.

I love to talk about him

He matters a lot to me.

Cos even when life looks dim

My trust in him will always be

Never ending cos he first loved

And gave himself for me.

How can I not love?

A friend so faithful and so true.

He loved me like no one ever did

Through the times I grew.

Times where there when I overlooked

The fact that he was there.

It’s really sad but yet it is so true.

Oh, how I wish I would be faithful

To him till the very end.

But yet it is sometimes so shameful

When I know I let down my friend.

And then I cannot help but regret

Because even then gladly

He always did forgive and forget.

This friend of mine I talk about

I’m sure you know him too.

Cos if you haven’t searched for him

Make sure that you do.

He always is so near to you

You only have to call.

My friend he wants to be there,

Until the end of all.
